The Manial Palace might not be the best site for you to visit if you're hoping to view an unfathomably lavish palace filled with historical relics. Given that it looks nothing like the majority of other royal palaces one can see, both in Cairo and elsewhere, from the exterior, one could almost argue that the Manial Palace isn't truly a palace at all. East of the River Nile, on the island of Manial el-Roda, is where you'll find the palace. It is constructed in a manner that combines European Art Nouveau and Rococo with a variety of traditional Islamic architectural forms, such as Ottoman, Moorish, and Persian civilizations, inspiring mixes in spatial design, and the use of luxurious materials for the outstanding interior décor. A rare collection of 350 Turkish carpets is unavoidable, not to mention the chandeliers, arabesques covered in shells, magnificent wall ceramics, and sun ring patterns on the ceilings. There are also many stained glass windows, which make it possible for you to take some stunning pictures. While the museum's interior is filled with amazing treasures, the enormous grounds provide a beautiful sense of tranquillity. It has several unique trees to the garden from all around the world.

The palace only takes up a maximum of two feddan of the total area of 17 feddan, the majority of which is devoted to gardens, along with a reception hall known as 'sala d'oro' because of the gilded Koranic and lyrical inscriptions on the walls and ceilings. Additionally, it is a great destination if you want to escape Cairo's hectic pace.
