Mount Sinai

Mount Sinai, also called Mount Horeb, is a mountain located in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It is considered to be a holy site by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. According to the Hebrew Bible, it was on this mountain that Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. The mountain has a peak elevation of 7,497 feet (2,285 meters) and is located within the Sinai Wilderness Area.


Today, it is a great tourist attraction and pilgrimage site, with many people climbing the mountain to reach the summit and experience the spiritual significance of the location.
