Beaches
Middle East
Dubai is a city that has no dearth of any kind of tourist attractions. But if you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday, here’s an exclusive list of hidden beaches in Dubai where you can enjoy the sand and the sun, eat your favorite food, play with your kids and chill at the beach.
Sunset beach or Umm Suqeim Beach is one of the best free beaches in Dubai. If you want to have your picture clicked with the classic pose of holding up the Burj Al Arab’, this beach has the best spot for it. Those who love to surf can rent a board from the Surf House Dubai which is near to the beach.
How to reach?
It is located behind the Sunset Mall in Jumeirah. There are two ways of reaching this beach:
Metro: Get down at the nearest metro station, i.e., First Gulf Bank and then, take a cab to the beach.
Car: Drive in the direction of Madinat Jumeirah and then head towards Umm Suqein Road 3. Continue to drive until you see the beach.
As its name suggests, this beach is famous for kite surfing. You can also indulge yourself in beach volleyball, paddle-boarding, kayaking, etc. It’s a family friendly beach with a skatepark, trampoline, and an area specially designated for toddlers. There are many beach canteens where you can have a pleasant meal.
How to reach?
You can take a metro to Noor Bank Metro Station and from there take a taxi to the beach. Alternatively, if you’re going by car, you can drive to Sheikh Zayed Road and then take the exit towards Umm Al Sheif Road.
